Origin

RAVYX was founded on a simple, frustrating observation: every piece of hearing protection in existence creates pressure. The earmuffs that protect your hearing damage your focus. The discomfort builds across a session, draining attention from the things that matter — stance, breath, trigger discipline, round count.

The existing solutions were insults. Thin cotton beanies that absorb nothing. Generic foam pads that shift and bunch. Nothing purpose-built for the specific physics of what happens when earmuffs meet skull.

So we built something real. Engineered from the interface outward. EVA foam in the right zones, at the right depth, bonded to a performance fabric system that actually manages heat and moisture. Not a workaround — a purpose-built solution.

RAVYX Performance Skullcap
A compression-fit tactical skullcap engineered specifically for shooters using hearing protection. EVA foam temple and side-head cushioning distributes earmuff pressure. Nylon/spandex blend with breathable mesh liner manages heat and moisture across extended sessions. Two colorways: Matte Black and Tactical Khaki. Pre-order: $49.99.
Earmuff Compatibility
Engineered to sit flush against the skull without compromising acoustic seal on Peltor, Howard Leight, MSA Sordin, Walker's, and all standard over-ear hearing protection. The compression fit stays in place through movement without shifting under earmuff clamping force.
The Material System
Four materials selected for four specific functions: nylon/spandex shell for durability and compression, EVA foam for pressure distribution, breathable mesh for airflow, flat-lock stitching for zero seam friction. Nothing is accidental — every gram of material earns its place.
